COUNTY GOVERNMENT EMBARKS ON ROADS REHABILITATION

Accessibility on roads is an important aspect in enhancing movement of people and goods. To improve on accessibility in local county roads,,department of lands & Physical Planning led by CECM Yussuf Dahir & CO Yussuf Mohamed has today rolled out opening of access roads in different parts of the county.

 
Residents of Tulloroba will be the first beneficiaries as the department begun by opening up of Olla-nasie Road which is 280 meters long with today’s work benefiting an estimated 40 HH in Olla-nasie village.

 
Halima Ismael a resident of the village couldn’t hide her joy after the road was opened saying that the process will enable free movement of the residents unlike before where they couldn’t access the main tarmac road.

Isiolo Governor. H.E Dr. Mohamed Abdi Kuti reaffirmed that the county Government will be facilitating road opening at different parts of the County among them; Kulamawe, Kampi-Garba, Burat and Bullapesa.

“The department is set to do road opening in most parts of the county. We will also ensure that our drainage systems are working,” the Governor Said .
